Are you looking for a metabolic boosting supplement that doesn’t contain stimulants? If yes, then Avesil could be the product that you are looking for.
Just like many other diet pills in the market today, Avesil is one of the most marketed and over-hyped product online. It features dozens of weight loss promises that may look factual and enticing for ordinary dieters like you.
So before you purchase this diet pill brand, I encourage you to read this product review first and learn why Avesil is not the most ideal supplement for your weight loss program.

What is Avesil?
Avesil is owned and distributed by Green Bracket, LLC a company that is based in Florida, USA. There are few information about this company online and even the official website of Avesil doesn’t disclosed this information to the public.
Like many other metabolism booster, Avesil is marketed as a thermogenic supplement, appetite suppressant and it even help regulate your blood sugar level. All these benefits are possible without using any stimulants (this is what they claim though they have caffeine on its formula).
Some of the claimed health benefits of Avesil include:
- Non-stimulant metabolism booster with Nutraceutical Meratrim
- Elevates energy and stabilizes blood sugar levels
- Burns fat and reduces appetite
- Supports neuromuscular coordination and motor performance for athletes
The features of Avesil are truly impressive especially if you want a stimulant-free weight loss supplement.
With regards to its official website, this diet pill has a decent looking site that is professionally designed for a diet pill product. However, I found several flaws with it that you might want to consider before buying a bottle (explained below).
Avesil Ingredients
Avesil is packed with natural and known weight loss ingredients. Its proprietary formula is composed of green tea extract, Meratrim, chromium and natural caffeine.
As you can see, Avesil claimed that it doesn’t contain caffeine but it clearly has “natural” caffeine and green tea extract (which contains caffeine).
Other ingredients of Avesil include gelatin, cellulose, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.
How does Avesil Work?
Avesil claim that it can help boost your metabolism, suppress your appetite and burn fat without using stimulants. With that said, we have to look at its ingredient list to see if this diet pill can truly deliver results.
First off, Avesil has green tea extract (200mg per serving). We all know how green tea works. It has potent antioxidants called polyphenols, which are immune enhancers while providing weight loss support.
Green tea can help you lose weight by burning your fat away while enhancing your mental focus and boosting your energy levels. In short, green tea is a metabolism booster as well.
But according to Drugs.com, human trials suggest a recommended dose of 270 to 800mg per day of green tea to make it more effective for weight loss. Avesil offers 200mg which is way short of that recommended dosage.
Next is chromium. Avesil has 100mcg of chromium per serving. Wonder why most dietary supplements have this compound?
Chromium helps keep blood sugar levels normal by improving the way your body uses insulin. So keeping a healthy blood glucose level may result to better appetite control. Aside from that benefit, chromium is believed to help improve athletic performance, increases your energy levels and even your support lean muscle growth.
While these claims on chromium are enticing, clinical trials suggest otherwise. According to National Institutes of Health, chromium supplementation (200 to 1,000mcg per day) studies revealed that it has no significant effects or benefits on body weight and composition.
Plus, Avesil offers a measly 100mcg of chromium were as most trials suggest 200 mcg or higher per day.
Next is Meratrim. This special formula is a trademark of InterHealth Nutraceuticals. I had previously rejected this brand in this review due to several issues.
Avesil’s Meratrim (400mg) is composed of Sphaeranthus indicus flower and garcinia mangosteen (different from garcinia cambogia). This is the main reason why Avesil was touted as “non-stimulant” metabolism booster because it contains natural herbs that doesn’t have caffeine. But how about its caffeine content? Well, you decide.
Lastly, Avesil contains caffeine USP which is said to be natural. If you do your research, caffeine is a caffeine which have no difference with anhydrous as both are stimulants. Caffeine functions directly in the brain, stimulating your central nervous system.
As such, it affects your body’s overall system giving you instant boost of energy and focus. Caffeine also has the ability to increase your metabolism while providing its own sets of antioxidants. However, caffeine is also known to trigger side effects.
With 75mg of caffeine per serving, it is unlikely for Avesil to cause any caffeine-related side effects due to this small amounts.
Can Avesil Deliver Results?
Avesil does have an impressive formula but as explained above, its dosing is too weak for it to cause any slimming effects. This is supported by tons of inefficacy reviews online.
Avesil’s Meratrim is not completely studied to be an effective formula for weight loss either. Some people said the following comments regarding the efficacy of Avesil:
These doesnt work for me at all. Ineffective. No weight loss. To purchase ineffective weight loss pills at high cost is totally not worth it. Will not purchase this again.

This review has no impact on the seller whatsoever, as they were excellent. I am basing this review on the product itself based on the Infomercial, product description and previous reviews. This product did not do anything as described. I did not have more energy; it did not appear to burn extra fat; it did not reduce appetite, etc. There are better products out there. Don’t waste your money. Live and learn.

This elleged weightloss drug is an absolute farse. I didn’t feel anything or notice any difference in my appetite OR weightloss for that matter. This pill is nothing more than a placebo and I’m convinced that any review I’ve ever read was written by a member of the company. I can’t see this pill working for ANYONE.
Is Avesil Safe?
Avesil claims to be a non-stimulant diet pill. However, online reviews suggest that hundreds of customers are experiencing adverse health effects while taking Avesil.
Some of the most helpful reviews came from Amazon:
This product does not work, intact it gave me severe stomach cramps. It is a lie regarding the 14 day trial period as it is more like nine days. I called after my first month to discontinue my second month supply and was told I would not be charged another 95.00 and my October shipment would be cancelled. Not so, on October 25 I received another shipment. Customer service would not refund my money because they stated that you cannot return any product. Yet, during the so called trial period you are instructed to return the product if you are not satisfied. Please do not buy this product as it really does not work and the company has lied about their return policy.

I signed up for a trial and tried this product for three days only to get severe side effects such as nausia, diarrhea, headache, insomnia, etc. I called the Customer Service and like what other people said, the Customer Service is NOT AT ALL helpful. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF trying this product. I cancelled it right away and made sure that I will NOT be charged for future purchases of this product. The Customer Service lady was VERY RUDE and I asked for a Supervisor or Manager and was told that SHE was a Supervisor. OMG… This company is NOT reliable. Bad service, not enough research… BAD try…

I took the product for 11 days. Around the 8th day I noticed the skin on my legs were very red, bumpy and itchy. Note that I was not taking any kind of medicine or anything whatsoever while on Avesil. I kept taking the pill for another 2 days and the allergy got worse, spreading to my arms and hips. I stop taking Avesil and the allergy is now subsiding. I had never ever had any kind of allergy in my whole life, never. Allergies are dificult to pinpoint but all the evidences point to Avesil. So be very careful before you go on this pill.

After 5 days of taking Avesil I noticed a severe rash on my arm. I didn’t even think that it was from taking the Avesil I figured I ate something. Nope….after 3 days the rash got worse (large bubbles on my skin) and worse to the point that I had to go to the Dermatologist. She told me to stop taking the pills. After a week off of the pills the rash started going away. It is now 3 weeks later and the rash marks are still on my arm. DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL. Oh and the best part….it didn’t help me lose any weight:)
With these information, you should take Avesil with caution or better yet, avoid taking this pill. Consulting your doctor before using Avesil is highly recommended.
Other Issues with Avesil
As I mentioned at the start of this review, there are some flaws that I noticed from the official website of Avesil. These flaws are regarding the “free trial” offer of Avesil, which most customers experienced a very unsatisfying experiences.
First off, the free trial is offered to all US residents (international customers can purchase Avesil directly in Amazon). So if you reside in the US, you can acquire a bottle of Avesil for a 14-day trial period for free. You just have to pay for shipping and handling.
If you like it and decide to continue with the product, simply do nothing and you will be charged a discounted price of $89.95. But if you decide to cancel your order due to any reasons, you should contact their customer service within 14 days to prevent charges.
Now here is the tricky part. If you decide to cancel and you successfully cancelled your agreement with Avesil, you still have to send back the trial bottle (even if it is already empty) to Avesil. If you fail to do this, you will still be charged $89.95 regardless of your cancellation. So you will have to pay for all the shipping costs of the bottle, plus the concern of additional charges.
This is trickery at the highest extent. Though it was transparently published in their Terms and Conditions page, it is quite impossible for the customer to ship back the bottle within 14 days, not to mention that 14 days are not enough to assess if the product really works or not.
Another issue that you should highly consider is Avesil’s commitment for refund. Avesil doesn’t refund shipment and processing costs. Their Terms and Conditions states the following details:
[note note_color=”#25aaf3″ text_color=”#ffffff”]Please note that we cannot process packages marked “Return to Sender” or “Refused”. Returned packages require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to ensure accurate processing. RMA numbers can be obtained by calling Avesil Customer Care at (866) 730-3330 or you can manage your account at www.avesil.com under customer service.[/note]
So if you want to return a bottle, you need to acquire RMA numbers which can be obtained by calling their customer care, so it is a grueling process. This is like saying to their customers that all sales are final. The hardships of refunds are obviously abundant in Avesil’s Amazon page.
This is the reason why “trial” periods features of diet pills are considered as “scam” and is the usual trap that most supplement manufacturers do to entice people to try their products. You can read more on how to avoid diet pills scam here.
How to Avoid Avesil’s Trial Feature?
There is one way to avoid getting into Avesil’s trial feature, and that is through their Amazon store. You can directly purchase a bottle of Avesil for $99.95. Of course there is no discount for this method but you are not tied up with their trial offer.
Recommended Use
Take Avesil as your dietary supplement. Take 1 capsule, twice daily 30 minutes to two hours before meals, with at least an 8oz glass of water.
Do not take an extra dose if you miss your scheduled serving. Just wait for the next serving time as scheduled. Do not exceed 2 capsules a day and do not take within 4 hours into bedtime.
Avesil is recommended for a minimum 12-week supplementation and should be combined with healthy diet and regular exercise program.
Avesil Review Summary
Avesil is completely not worth your health investment. It has tons of negative reviews online and will just put you into a terrible payment schemes situation.
I rate this diet pill as “NOT RECOMMENDED” due to the following reasons:
- Limited information for both Avesil and its company
- Terrible side effects
- Abundant reports of ineffectiveness
- Tons of complaints online
- Difficult customer service
- Outrageously pricey ($99.95 per bottle)
- No money back guarantee / refund
